I’ve seen that too many times. I thought I must be the only person who thought it incredibly stupid to put a handle on a door you push to open.

Never been in a position to sit and watch others do the same things.

Well Mtv does still show videos, it’s just that you work too late to be up early enough to see them. And I liked when Headline News could get you caught up on the world in 15-30 minutes in the morning. Then if you needed more in depth review or opinion, you’d flip to CNN and get the same stories but with all the “analysis.” And yes, it’s all of them, not just FAUXNews, but I actually happened to be watching them last night to see what sort of hyperbolic claims they were making about Obama’s speech. Strange thing is O’Reilly was actually being the voice of reason about in one segment last night, and defending Obama. Never thought Hell would freeze over, but it seemed to. Anyway, I guess if they had newscasts on at a time when I, or the average Joe aren’t at work and could watch, I’d probably start watching cable news again.

I think this new channels stopped showing news a few years after MTV stopped showing videos and it’s not like this is just Fox. CNN has Anderson Cooper (Not News), Nancy Grace (Not News), Larry King (Not News), etc. Remember when Headline News was the same thing every half hour except for a few minor changes? Sports at 20 and 50 after, etc. You could watch for half an hour and be completely caught up on all the headlines. The news channels realized that if they had hour long programs they could keep viewers longer-just like MTV realized that people tuned out when a video for a song they didn’t like came on, but if they had programming they could keep viewers longer.
