Belewe Moon

You saw me standing alone, without a dream in my heart. Or so you thought, because 2009 can really suck a bag of dicks (to use an old colloquialism). But I took a break from thinking about how bad this year was to think about how great the new year has to be. Then I decided to go take photos of the second New Moon of the month, aka a Blue Moon.

Even though “blue” really doesn’t describe the color of the moon, typically anyway, tonight it did have a sort of blue hue. We do have a lot of dust and smoke in the air though, so that could have something to do with it. Anyway, happy new year. Hopefully this new year will be better than the last.
