Back To Work 2

Those 14 emails took the rest of the day to complete. There are a few things I’ve learned about my job from listening to all of the coworkers who helped cover my job while I was out for a week.

1. my job sucks.

2. my clients are a pain in the ass

3. my clients try to get away with murder

4. my coworkers don’t like doing my job

5. my job involves constant problem solving, as constant problems arise.

So while it was nice that it took a village to cover me while I was out, I’m back, and I’m not sure I like being told by others just how difficult they think my job is. I guess it’d be different if any of these people could help me get a raise and promotion, but that won’t happen now will it?
