Penley Box Matches

99 Cents will buy you a whole lot of these matches, but really, I’ve not seen matches so explosive. After having one burst into flames in my hand I think I’ll be very cautious with these from now on. Sure, I understand that matches are supposed to burst into flames, but these require the most minimal of effort to light. I’m sure I could light them on anything, including friction with skin.

Anyway, it was an experience to light up that incense the other day. I’m sure I could make some sort of phosphorus “fireworks” out of the 99 cents worth I have. But I’m not sure I’d even want to spend the time cutting all the match heads off. Besides, I’m not 12 anymore. So doing those sorts of thing aren’t nearly as fun as they used to be.
