Biscuits and Gravy

It started out with me just frying up some bacon. I’d been craving bacon and eggs, so I bought what I needed for that. After frying up the bacon though, I realized that with all that bacon fat in the pan, it’d be the perfect time to make a roux and turn it into biscuits and gravy. So I went to the store real quick and got some milk and biscuits. Twenty minutes later the biscuits were done, so was the roux, and I had a treat before me. I also invited the neighbors over, even though they were barely awake.

There are a couple of extra ingredients in this that you wouldn’t necessarily find in a standard sawmill gravy. I won’t tell you what they are though. But those who got breakfast this morning at my place all know.
